    Bentonite is an aluminium silicate clay which can absorb several times its own weight in water to form a suspension or gel. It is commonly used as drilling mud, stabilizing agent and clarifying agent. Our mixer technology draws material from top and bottom into the shear zone, rapidly dispersing and dissolving the material, reducing floating powders or resins, and eliminating clumping.

    Filter cake is solid material that results from filtration or centrifugation of a suspension. Materials extracted this way include pigments, dyestuffs, pharmaceutical active ingredients, and detergent additives. Filter cake requires redispersion into a solvent before being used in the manufacturing processes. It also can need dispersion into an appropriate “wash” fluid to remove traces of impurities.

    Xanthan gum helps thicken and stabilize emulsions and suspensions. It is used in many chemical applications like adhesives, ceramic glazes, drilling muds, foundry compounds, latex emulsions, lubricants, paints and coatings, paper, pesticides, and textiles.

    Xanthan gum can be dispersed into hot or cold liquids, but has a tendency to form agglomerates.
